Experience in venues worldwide has led to custom-designed slinging kits, allowing both efficient rigging and the unobtrusive recording of live concerts.
SIX Music Productions’ extensive recording rig allows full multitrack recording of the largest orchestral and choral repertoire. An outstanding microphone collection (Neumann, Schoeps, DPA, Coles, Sennheiser, AKG etc.) featuring notable ‘vintage’ microphones as well as current production models; state-of-the-art pre-amps (Prism, Neve, RME Micstasy, Yamaha); and comprehensive recording equipment allows for high-resolution recordings capturing every detail of a performance. The addition of over fifty pairs of closed-back BeyerDynamic DT100 & DT102 headphones allows recording to ‘click’ (or a previously tracked recording) in a venue of the client’s choosing.
Working across a variety of genres, SIX Music Productions’ engineers are equally at home in a studio environment (regularly working in London’s Abbey Road Studios, Air Studios, Air Edel and elsewhere) as they are in concert halls, opera houses, cathedrals, recital halls, galleries and elsewhere.
